I never imagined I would develop an app. Today, that idea has become a reality, with the help of AI. In this post, Remesh Ramachandran introduces Secues.com, a secure enterprise file-sharing platform built to make sharing files simple while keeping privacy in mind.

Introducing SECUES, a file-sharing platform built around a simple goal: making it easier to share files securely while keeping privacy in mind.

Sharing files with greater control

Sharing a file should not mean leaving it accessible indefinitely. SECUES brings together one-time transfers, automatic expiry, and Share IDs, giving users more control over how they share their information.

  1. 1
One-time transfers. A file can be collected once. After that, the link is gone.
  2. 2
Automatic expiry. Every share has a lifetime. Nothing stays reachable by accident.
  3. 3
Share IDs. A short identifier stands in for the file, so the link itself reveals nothing.
  4. 4
AES-256 encryption. File contents are protected with a widely trusted standard.
  5. 5
Local file encryption. Protection starts on the sender's own device, not somewhere along the way.

With AES-256 encryption and local file encryption, SECUES is designed to protect file contents while making the sharing process simple.

Turning an idea into something real

Building SECUES has shown me how AI can help turn an idea into a working product. It has opened a door I once thought was beyond my reach and helped me bring my cybersecurity experience into something practical.

I’m proud to see this project come to life. For me, it is both a personal milestone and an opportunity to make secure file sharing more accessible.
